I will forward this post to the HP driver developer who works in Redmond. If you are using HP's Port monitor, this would fail. The only thing HP requests is the Duplex unit so I'm guessing a response is not properly returned over SNMP or HP is not looking in the correct OID on the device thus a FALSE is returned.
